Peter Russell, the widely acclaimed author of the bestseller The Global Brain and other pioneering works, earned an honors degree in theoretical physics and psychology-as well as a master's degree in computer science-at the University of Cambridge, England, where he studied under Stephen Hawking. He then went to India where he explored meditation and Eastern philosophy. Peter Russell was one of the first to introduce personal development programs to corporation in the 1970s.
